Why Get Involved?

By sharing your experiences and insights with us, you will help us to better understand and cater for the specifics of those with eating disorders - Autistic and non-Autistic - during the transition period!

Who can Participate? 

Those interested participating in the study must be:

  • Anyone with experience (both Autistic and non-Autistic) of ED service transitions in the past 5 years
  • Over the age of 16
  • Fluent in English

EDAC researchers are conducting recruitment for individuals to participate in an arts-based study using Photovoice methods, which involves a series of online or in-person workshops using pictures and images to explore experiences!

As part of EDAC's third workstream, a group of researchers at Anglia Ruskin University & Michigan State University are exploring Autistic people's thoughts and behaviours regarding their body and eating, and certain eating styles. This study involves taking part in an interview and encourages the use of Photovoice, an arts-based methodology to communicate your thoughts!
