BEAT: Eating Disorders and Autism Workshop

As part of Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) 2025, BEAT is hosting a workshop on autism and eating disorders. Join our EDAC team members Fiona Duffy, Kate Tchanturia and Emy Nimbley for an interactive workshop focused on autism and eating disorders.

The workshop aims to cover unique challenges faced by Autistic people with eating disorders and their carers, and how they can be best supported. The session will include a series of short presentations and discussions on key areas of interest, all informed by lived experience and clinical expertise, and the workshop is designed to be relevant to clinical professionals, academics, carers and other family members.
