EDAC's Sensory Environment Audit Tool

EDAC is excited to have collaborated with PEACE pathway on the development of a Sensory Environment Audit Tool. This tool is designed to support an audit of the clinical environment (inclusive of waiting rooms, clinic spaces, physical health monitoring rooms and inpatient environments) with autistic individual's with eating disorders. The aim is then to collaboratively develop an action plan of potential adaptations of the environment (inclusive of considerations of using sensory tools) and consider how we proactively communicate elements of the clinical environment that we cannot easily adapt to our patients, so people can be prepared for this prior to appointments.
